Continuing its efforts to help Los Angeles wildfire victims, Snibbs is offering a percentage of the proceeds from its collaboration with kitchen and lifestyle brand Hedley & Bennett to charity.
Available now via Snibbs.co is the Snibbs x Hedley & Bennett Orbit SE, the work shoe brand’s first-ever culinary collaboration. The look is available in two colorways, Illy and Foliage, and retails for $149.
The Snibbs Orbit is a certified slip-resistant, lightweight sneaker that features water-resistant uppers and a speed lacing system. Underfoot, the look features the brand’s Stratus-EVA midsoles, which Snibbs explained are made for movement and high energy return. What’s more, they are made with 100 percent vegan materials and nearly 100 percent recycled materials.
As for the colorways, Snibbs described the “Illy” look as “dramatic.” It features black and dark blues, which are paired with bright red accents, which serve as a nod to Hedley & Bennett’s branding. And “Foliage” features sage, tan and cream hues, which Snibbs said are inspired by raw vegetation, as well as “a dash” of burnt orange.
To serve the L.A. culinary community, Snibbs confirmed a percentage of the proceeds from this Hedley & Bennett sneaker collaboration are being donated to Restaurants Care, which is a nonprofit run by the California Restaurant Foundation with grants for food and beverage workers impacted by the Palisades and Eaton wildfires.
What’s more, pairs of the Snibbs x Hedley & Bennett Orbit SE are being donated to the employees of Holy Smokes Kosher BBQ and Piccalilli, which are local catering operations that have been feeding both firefighters and wildfire victims.

Both Snibbs co-founder Daniel Shemtob and Hedley & Bennett founder Ellen Marie Bennett were personally impacted by the wildfires. Shemtob lost his home, Bennett’s mother lost the house that she grew up in.
“Ellen is one of my oldest friends in the industry, and we always talked about collaborating someday. It was just a matter of timing and finding the right thing,” Shemtob said in a statement. “As my team laid out plans to update our popular Orbit shoe, we knew we had to partner with the best kitchen outfitter out there, and that’s Hedley & Bennett.”
